The extremely talented duo Sultan & Ned Shepard are back with a beautiful new EP on This Never Happened and we’re extremely excited for this release. The 3 track ‘Guaba‘ EP is truly a piece of art and you’ll surely be amazed at how beautifully each track is crafted in this EP.
Known for their amazingly versatile sound, this Canadian duo needs no introduction. They’ve been active for the last 18 years and they still never fail to amaze us. With such an amazing career and plenty of hits under their belt, Sultan + Shepard is definitely one the most iconic duo in the dance music industry. Being an inspiration to label boss himself, Daniel Goldstein a.k.a. Lane 8, it’s for sure that he is thrilled and happy to have artists’ of this caliber on his imprint.

“This EP is a deeper dive into rediscovering our love for melodic music. We were so inspired by all of the love we got from the Kochi EP that we just wanted to make more. These three songs were made at the beginning of the pandemic when everything was first shut down. The world felt surreal and uncertain but there was a beautiful intensity and focus to everything we were doing in the studio, and these are some of the results. The brand new ‘Guaba‘ EP is a brilliant follow-up to the duo’s previous EP on This Never Happened called ‘Kochi‘ EP which came out in February earlier this year. Building up to that same magical melodic sound, the 3 new tracks are absolute beauties.
Starting with the title track ‘Guaba‘ which is on a league of its own with that stunning uplifting rhythm that is sure to give you the chills and bring a big smile on your face. We then move on to a little deeper and progressive with ‘Banya‘ that has an amazing melody infused with some really groovy beats. You won’t be able to resist dancing to this one. Ending the EP on a very calming tone is ‘Vahé‘ that produces a very soothing and relaxing vibe that will transcend you to a whole new world. This tune will absolutely make you forget all your worries and help you remain stress-free.
With the addition of these tracks, This Never Happened has yet again come to our rescue from the disappointing events that have occurred over the past few months. Nevertheless, we have artists like Sultan + Shepard, Lane 8, and many more by our side who will help us get through these tough times with their wonderful music.
