With Pioneer CDJ’s flagship hardware CDJ2000 NXS over half a decade old, recently on their Instagram handle out of nowhere we saw something new coming just a few days back. A 15-second teaser shows the testing of their new equipment, and all we could spot was a cue button, jog wheels being moved, and a few other features with the company teasing them as New Dimension. At this point, all we can speculate is the launch of new hardware with CDJ3000? And if we consider it as real, is it really a good time to launch as entire world is in some or the other form of lockdown with clubs being closed.

Pioneer will certainly need to unveil a new media player as its rival Denon DJ has unleashed its own SC5000 and now SC6000 series of players. Pioneer DJ hasn’t revealed a bit of it but the teaser most probably points towards the CDJ-3000 series of media players.
