The undisputed kings of the drum & bass genre Sub Focus & Wilkinson have unleashed their long awaited debut collaborative album ‘Portals’. Both the acts have stunned crowds across the globe with their smashing b2b performances and of course collaborative productions. Earlier this year before the album release, the D&B heavyweights had dropped three massive releases such as “Just Hold On,” “Air I Breathe,” and “Illuminate”.

Their 11-track project is heavily inspired by Jon Hopkins, Bonobo & sees both of them shift their styles in a more expansive and ambitious direction. ‘Portals’ is undoubtedly one of the best albums of the year 2020 as the pair experimented with different tempos and recording live instrumentation while simultaneously staying true to their drum & bass roots. The new additions to the album include the s of ‘Enter Night’, cinematic masterpiece ‘Freedom’, ‘Turn The Lights Off’, catchy tune ‘Ray Of Sun’. They end the album with a progressive cut titled ‘Alone’, orchestral ‘Stratus’ and classic D&B of ‘In Bloom’.
