Continuing his streak of amazing trance releases over the years, the legendary DJ/Producer Ilan Bluestone is here with one of his most awaited releases. The track is called ‘Paid For Love‘ and it is finally out on Above & Beyond‘s prestigious Anjunabeats imprint.

With the year 2020 becoming a major let down for most of us, it surely hasn’t slowed down Mr. Ilan Bluestone‘s productivity in any way. He released ‘Black & Blue‘ with Andrew Bayer, curated a 20 Years Of Anjunabeats mix, launched a new project, Elysian, with fellow globetrotters Maor Levi and Emma Hewitt, and his 138 Stoneblue alias with debut release ‘Hypnotized’ on Monstercat. Now that’s productive!

Consistently giving his best be it a live show or his productions, Ilan is a type of artist who always delivers. And it really shows in his latest release ‘Paid For Love‘ which is one of his best works of all time. Debuting on Above & Beyond‘s celebratory live stream of Group Therapy 400 in September, the track has received immense love from fans since then.

‘Paid For Love’ is the first track I’ve written where I’ve had a hand in writing the lyrics. The song is about a personal experience I had in a relationship, and I feel like these lyrics speak to people who may have gone through similar experiences. I’ve felt such a strong connection with fans at my shows when they’ve been singing the words back to me. I wanted a vocal in the style of Depeche Mode, and Gid delivered!

Now talking about the track, ‘Paid For Love‘ it is one of those tracks that is on its way to becoming a classic. Ilan brings his signature energetic and powerful kicks induced with a heavy baseline that is combined with an uplifting melody. Plus, the captivating vocals from Gid Sedgwick brings a very emotional feel to the track that will surely send chills down your spines. This anthemic banger is definitely one of the best releases of the year and also a very special release for Ilan Bluestone, as he says,
