The legendary trio Above & Beyond has teamed up with anamē for a beautiful new release called ‘Gratitude’ featuring Marty Longstaff, and is out now on Anjunabeats!

Originally expected to be a collaboration between Above & Beyond and gardenstate, the latter group’s plans were altered. gardenstate was created in 2019 as a collaboration between Marcus Schössow of Sweden and Matthew Felner of the United States. They released some great music and a full-fledged album called ‘Inspirations‘ that earned a lot of affection from the audience over the period of three years. Unfortunately, the duo decided to separate in March 2022, publicly announcing their split. But things are looking bright since Matthew will continue the gardenstate project, and Marcus has teamed up with Thomas Sagstad under the alias anamē.

Since its debut on Above & Beyond’s ABGT450 set at The Drumsheds, London, this track has been the subject of constant conversation among fans, who have been eagerly anticipating its release. This collaboration marks the debut release from anamē, a new alias from Swedish hitmaker Marcus Schössow (former gardenstate member) and production partner Thomas Sagstad. Also, Marty Longstaff, the voice of Above & Beyond’s ‘Tightrope‘ and ‘Flying By Candlelight‘, makes a return to Anjunabeats with ‘Gratitude’.

Being one of the standout moments from Above & Beyond’s ABGT 450 set, ‘Gratitude’ is one of those tracks that you fall in love with instantly. And of course, you’d expect nothing less from these iconic top-tier artists. Filled with lovely, upbeat sentiments, ‘Gratitude’ takes the listener on a rollercoaster full of emotions. The delightful piano melody, Marty Longstaff’s gorgeous vocals, that emotional breakdown halfway through the track, and the progressive house elements from both acts, make ‘Gratitude’ a brilliant masterpiece.
