‘Impulse,’ which was released on Anjunabeats last year in May 2021, was a fairly vocal-focused album. The album showcased Ilan’s versatility as a songwriter and producer with an 18-track excursion across trance, progressive, synthwave, drum & bass, and more. On ‘Impulse,’ Ilan is joined by a cast of familiar faces, including Maor Levi, Ilan’s best friend, and fellow Anjunabeats stalwart, as well as vocalists Giuseppe De Luca, Ellen Smith, and EL Waves.
Tracks from ‘Impulse’ have been played on some of the greatest stages in dance music across the world, including Dreamstate, ASOT1000 Poland, and Ilan’s magnificent Group Therapy 450 set at The Drumsheds London.
Ilan has engaged top-tier talent as well as rising stars to remix ‘Impulse.’ XiJaro & Pitch, a Dutch trance duo, and AMPRS&ND, a San Francisco-based house DJ, are among the new additions to the family, while PROFF and Tomas Heredia, the two Anjuna faves, are returning to the label. Reworks from Maor Levi, Kryder, Pretty Pink, OCULA, GVN, Soulecta, and Ilan himself under his uplifting trance moniker Stoneblue are also included in the package.
