Nala is a fast-rising LA producer-vocalist. Since her start as a known tastemaker in Miami, the versatile artist has polished her Riot Grrrl-inspired electronic music style. Her sound blends analog synths and 90s punk vocals with electro, house, and indie dance tracks.

Nala has started her own label after years of chart-topping releases on Dirtybird, including a collaboration with Claude VonStroke. Mi Domina is a femme-dominated platform that empowers and showcases talented, respectful, and nice musicians. Mi Domina means “dominate me” in Italian and refers to a femdom culture where women are in command and respected as such.

Nala is launching her label with a three-track EP titled Get Familiar, a collaboration with Miami-based DJ/producer E.R.N.E.S.T.O.

The EP blends electronic music with acid, Miami bass, and Chicago juke.

Get Familiar opens with “God Complex,” a tech-house track that condemns egomania (a timely topic).

Nala’s sing-speak voice melds with the track’s fist-pumping tech-house beat and electro-style sounds.

Get Familiar’s title single has two versions, the first showcasing Nala’s dark disco influence. The track’s throbbing synths, addictive rhythms, and Nala’s hypnotizing vocal chants will ignite subterranean dancefloors.

The second version is an acid mix with an E.R.N.E.S.T.O. instrumental. The song has synchronized rhythmic beats and Nala’s lyrics about love and self-expression.

Get Familiar features exciting drum machine programming, engaging synth layers, and sardonic, caustic lyrical content that urges positivity and respect.
