On Friday night, 58,000 students filled Electric Castle to hear a lecture on punk, reinvention, and the power to buck musical trends. Anyone standing in front of the main stage on the third day of the festival could have picked up an experience from the list of things to live at least once in their lives thanks to Iggy Pop, the poster head of the day.

Both insanity and Pendulum were let free at the return of the original live band formula to the Banffy field. The Australian band was moved to take their show to the more intimate setting of The Stables, a basement bar, on the spur of the moment by the response to their performance.
Icelandic post-rockers Sigur Ros and alternative rockers Nothing But Thieves, both known for their willingness to experiment with musical genres and lyrics with substantial societal significance, are set to perform on Electric Castle’s main stage once again. Alex Superbeats, a Romanian DJ and entertainer with a superhero character, and Jamie XX, the guy responsible for the creation of The xx phenomenon and one of the most talented producers in the world, are both guaranteed to get the party started.
