With more than 200,000 visitors who were part of Airbeat One’s 22nd edition where the city of Neustadt-Glewe turned into a giant dancefloor, witnessing fans from around 50+ countries, it was an emotional moment when the final beat dropped marking the closure of festival’s 22nd edition.
“Viva España”, that was the theme for 2025, mainstage was transformed with looks of La Sagrada Familia, the basilica in Barcelona, and Las Ventas bullring in Madrid, it was a spectacular design with 180 meter wide and 45 meter height. Harder Stage witnessed a giant Bull’s head giving that proper España look and feel.
250 DJs, 225 hours of music across six infield stages covering nearly every electronic genre with global superstars including Armin van Buuren, Alok, Afrojack, Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike, Hardwell, Oliver Heldens, Timmy Trumpet, Sebastian Ingrosso, and Steve Aoki. Boris Brejcha, Deborah De Luca, and Amelie Lens brought techno to the Mainstage, with Lens celebrating her AIRBEAT ONE debut.
The Second Stage, presented by the Indian Spirit Festival, once again showcased the best in Goa and PsyTrance. This year, it also became a platform for Trance superstars. A major highlight: Paul van Dyk’s set, where the legendary German Trance icon premiered his new track “Power.”
On Saturday night at 1:30 a.m., a massive fireworks display lit up the Mecklenburg skies in red and yellow, followed by a phenomenal closing set by Dutch DJ superstar Armin van Buuren. Neustadt-Glewe and the surrounding region welcomed electronic music fans from around the world with open arms.
The grand finale not only included fireworks but also the reveal of next year’s theme and date. The 23rd edition will take place from July 9 to 12, 2026, and transport visitors to the Netherlands – the birthplace of many DJ megastars and a true festival nation.
