Baku is set for a big electronic music weekend when the Azerbaijan Grand Prix arrives in September. FOMO Baku is taking its APEX AFTER DARK series outdoors for the first time, bringing ANOTR, Jamie Jones and Mahmut Orhan to a purpose-built 2,500-capacity venue on Baku Boulevard. The open-air site sits directly on the Caspian Sea and will host three nights of music from September 24 to 26, adding a new nightlife option to one of the city’s busiest weekends of the year.

The lineup starts with ANOTR on Thursday, September 24. The Amsterdam duo will take over the waterfront for a sunset session, moving between house, disco, funk, soul and deeper late-night sounds as the evening goes on. Jamie Jones follows on Friday, September 25. The Hot Creations founder and Paradise name will bring his house-driven sound to Baku ahead of race day, with thousands of visitors expected in the city for the Grand Prix weekend.

Mahmut Orhan will close APEX AFTER DARK on Saturday, September 26, performing on race day itself. The 2026 Baku Grand Prix has moved to a Saturday for the first time, and according to the announcement, Orhan’s set will begin straight after the chequered flag. He is also returning to Baku after headlining the final night of FOMO’s 2025 Grand Prix weekend, making his return part of a continuing connection with the event.

APEX AFTER DARK marks the first time FOMO has taken its experience outdoors since opening in late 2023, placing three nights of electronic music against the backdrop of Baku Boulevard and the Caspian Sea. Tickets are available through the event page, with the shows listed as 18+ and set to go ahead in all weather. Tickets: More information and tickets here
