Rocking our ear drums for over 2 decades, our beloved radio show A State of Trance has hit the stellar milestone of completing 1000 episodes. Last night during the live broadcast of this monumental and historic 5 hour special episode where Armin shared the news about the celebrations of this massive journey with all his fans around the world.

The trance icon announced that the special celebration will extend to a two-show Celebration Weekend. The two-show ASOT 1000 celebration weekend will kick-start from Friday 3 September where it will be dedicated as a tribute to twenty years of A State of Trance with special guest appearances, followed by second show on Saturday, 4 September will be of more familiar celebration of ASOT which goes in line with the previous milestone celebrations.
Like every ASOT festival has a theme and an anthem, this one is no exception to that and show’s theme for 1000 is ‘Turn the World Into A Dancefloor’, anthem goes by same name as well, echoes the all-encompassing message that has been at the heart of ‘A State Of Trance’ from the very beginning.
