After both enjoying a true triumphal march last year, Dutch acts Lucas & Steve (‘Up Till Dawn’) and singer-songwriter Janieck (‘Does It Matter’) have teamed up for the stunning crossover tune ‘You Don’t Have To Like It’. 2017 saw Lucas & Steve performing at Tomorrowland’s mainstage, Mysteryland, TIMEOUT 72, AMF Netherlands, WISH Outdoor Mexico, while touring the globe endlessly), and got asked by none other than Hardwell and KSHMR to remix their recent hit record ‘Power’. Janiek also made 2017 big with featuring on the Alle Farben hit song ‘Little Hollywood’, turning into a #1 Airplayhit in Germany; the single was also nominated for the 1Live Award ‘Beste Single’ of 2017.
This new single ‘You Don’t Have To Like It’. The record is a true blend of both acts’ trademark sounds, working up tender guitar chords and vocals with strong rhythms and housey drop. By the sound of it, this could very well become a festival and radio favorite for the next months – something both these acts have a patent on.
