2018 is about to end and it was for sure great year for Trance, wasn’t it? How about taking you all on a memorable journey of the best Trance tracks of the year.
If you are expecting something like this, then yes you are in a treat, more than 100 Trance tracks mixed together and bundled in a 2 disc package of 120 minutes, of course we are talking about A State of Trance Yearmix 2018.
An yearly tradition for Dutch Trance legend Armin van Buuren to lock himself up in his studio for weeks to create this one hell of a kind mashup and this year was no exception, the idea behind yearmix is, A State of Trance listeners have to vote for their Top 5 Trance tunes of the year (from a list of almost 1500 Trance tracks produced and played on ASOT this year) and Armin uses this list to select not only Tune of The Year (which gets announced in the second last episode of the year) but also creating this Yearmix, year every year.
With every Yearmix, comes an amazing intro, and for this year the theme / idea is, Armin goes for his DJ license renewal and you have to listen to the funny conversation of how it goes.
This year’s Yearmix contains really amazing productions like Red Rocks, Music Rescues Me, Blah Blah Blah, Lifting You Higher, U, Popcorn, Northern Star, Zombie & Our Origin to just name a few.
