The Swedish melody genius left the world last year in April and left the whole dance music community in shock. When Avicii died, he had a lot of unreleased stuff which he was working on. His upcoming posthumous album is titled “Tim” — after his original name Tim Bergling. Last year, Nicky Romero also played Avicii’s unreleased record which featured Chris Martin’s vocals.
“Family decided not to keep the music locked away – instead they wanted to share it with his fans all around the world”.
Also, last month his family announced the establishment of the Tim Bergling Foundation which would be working to offer support to individuals and organizations in the field of mental health and suicide prevention. The proceeds from the album will go to the foundation. The first single ‘SOS’ of the album “TIM” will be released on April 10 and the album will be released on June 6. Although, AVICII is not with us today but his magical music will always keep him alive in our hearts forever!
