Symbiotic and Transmission Festival promised the biggest Transmission in history and they delivered!! With a history of bringing in some of the biggest Trance shows in Australia, from Above & Beyond Group Therapy, Armin Only, A State of Trance, Dreamstate and launching their own local trance brands – it only seemed fitting that Symbiotic added Transmission to their list of heavy accomplishments.
The newly formed partnership between Symbiotic and Transmission Festival seemed like a match made in heaven. The record-breaking crowd (the biggest Transmission attendance ever in history) of over 17k revelers showed that Trance music is truly alive and well and we are all united as one with our love for this genre.
The music delivered from start to finish with each artist feeding off the fantastic vibes of the Sydney crowd. Highlights of the night include an amazing perfect Anjuna set from the man of the moment Ilan Bluestone, Sander van Doorn continuing to deliver and slay crowd with his Purple Haze moniker, Above & Beyond bringing in some much-deserved group therapy, Vini Vici and Simon Patterson destroying the dancefloors with their brand of psy-destruction. Marcus Santoro and AVAO had the honors of warming up the dancefloors and they too set the tone early.
With all of that, the set of the night belonged to our very own MaRLo. Having endured the toughest week of his life, he showed us once again why he is the ultimate professional and beloved by many. He absolutely smashed it with the most highly energetic set of the night and as always was next level vibing with the audience. He’s earned his place to be at the very top of our faves!
