This December, a tribute concert dedicated to Avicii has been planned in order to raise money for mental health awareness as well as suicide prevention. All the proceeds from the concert will be donated to the Tim Bergling Foundation. This charity raiser will witness performances from Avicii’s friends and EDM top guns David Guetta, Kygo, Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike, Laidback Luke, and Nicky Romero. While the late Swedish maestro’s collaborators Aloe Blac, Bonn, Otto Knows, Rita Ora & many more will be performing perform alongside the band. Earlier this year, Tim’s family launched The Tim Bergling Foundation earlier this year, with a mission to “initially focus on supporting people and organizations working in the field of mental illness and suicide prevention.”
Avicii’s phenomenal tunes will be performed by a 30-piece band during the two-hour Avicii Tribute Concert. This tribute concert would be the first-ever event where Avicii’s number of singles would be performed live by his collaborators, singers he teamed up for numerous unforgettable hits. This is certainly a great initiative in the aid of mental health awareness and a tribute to the man behind the world’s euphoric melodies Tim Bergling. The Avicii Tribute concert will take place at the Friends Arena in Stockholm on 5 Dec 2019.
