Almost a week back, there was a slight ray of hope that Tomorrowland Belgium will happen in-person but unfortunately the festival’s 16th edition this year has been cancelled. Earlier, the Belgian government had made a decision to allow festivals with up to 75,000 attendees but mayors of Boom & Rumst haven’t permitted the team to go ahead with this year’s edition. According to the press conference held by the authorities, the cancellation is a result of the number of attendees and limitations of facilities to ensure the health and safety protocols

We keep looking positively towards the future and strongly believe that music will unite us again.

The Tomorrowland team is exploring various options to safely host the 2021 edition so till then let’s wait for a breakthrough and hope for the best. You can still experience Tomororwland in the virtual world as Tomorrowland Around The World is all set to be streamed next month, featuring performances from Amelie Lens, Afrojack, Vini Vici, Armin van Buuren, Koven, Charlotte de Witte & more.
