With a dazzling array of releases already this Summer including ‘Artefact’ and ‘Two Rivers’ that have continued to captivate audiences new and old, Paul van Dyk, as one of the most heralded names in dance music, continues with his next production ‘Rhapsody’ and this time he brings Chris Bekker and Jan Dzialek along for the ride!

As the fifth episode of the ‘Off The Record’ series, ‘Rhapsody’ rejoices with a fresh edge for a new generation, presenting how Paul consistently pushes the boundaries of creativity in his productions. Chris Bekker, known for his progressive house and melodic tech records alongside van Dyk including ‘Berlinition’ and ‘Velvet Sky’, dropped ‘Rhapsody’ as a teaser on SHINE Ibiza’s stage at the legendary Dance Valley festival last weekend. It goes without saying, the reaction of the enthralled audience was outstanding. Quite the debut for newcomer Jan Dzialek, who rounds off the German talents trio with his initiation on VANDIT Records.

Taking the reigns with a sizzling polyphony that is undoubtedly belonging to the trance realm, it utilizes a rhythm that builds through layers of slicing, sparkling synths that are then followed by pulsating and dominating yet structured bass. As the track leans into the progressive, the tempo grows ever more euphoric, interspersed with otherworldly, sustained key notes and rich atmospherics, lending itself to a combination of exhilaration and ecstasy in all its glory.
