The three-day music and arts event Gem & Jam has added more than 40 artists to its already packed lineup less than two months before its 15th anniversary.
Gem & Jam returns to the idyllic desert landscape of Pima County Fairgrounds in Tucson, Arizona from Friday, February 3rd to Sunday, February 5th. New artists include LSDREAM‘s special Lightcode set, Talking Dead, Snakes & Stars, Since JulEYE, and many talented local acts.

LSDREAM will also perform a live Lightcode set at his festival debut. Lightcode is a sonic therapeutic experience that includes unique music, guided meditations, and sound baths.
Talking Dead, a collaboration between Life During Wartime and Garcia Birthday Band, will perform a Talking Heads-Grateful Dead tribute. Talking Dead performs marathon shows with seamless full-band transitions and no set breaks. The supergroup’s song pairings, groove mutations of dream mixtapes, and celebration of two of the most famous song collections in history are legendary.
Drummer Michael Travis will participate in Snakes & Stars with Aaron Johnston of The David Byrne Band in addition to The String Cheese Incident’s headlining sets.
Gem & Jam has promoted the Tucson music scene since its founding. In 2023, over 40 Arizona artists will take over the Opal Stage for a All The Homies takeover.
The new artists join headliners The String Cheese Incident, LSDREAM, The Floozies, and , with support from The Motet, Dirtwire, Ott, SoDown, The Funk Hunters, Mark Farina, and Marvel Years. Justin Martin, Ayla Nereo, Haywyre, Aqueous, EAZYBAKED, Justin Jay, The Nth Power, Poranguí, and Ravenscoon debut at Gem & Jam.
Gem & Jam is working with Green Disco to reduce its environmental impact and offer eco-friendly festival experiences. The optional Green Disco Eco-Band benefits Tucson NGOs, offsets carbon, and collects environmental statistics. The $20 hemp wristband gives festivalgoers extra privileges and helps the environment.
