Giving 2018 a wonderful start, Australian record producer What So Not, best known for his hit singles “Gemini”, “High You Are” and “Tell Me” is making his way to India this month! With his brilliant music, he has made his mark in the electronic music scene and has performed at the biggest festivals around the world. Coachella, Lollapalooza and Ultra Music Festival are some to name a few.
Phoenix Live is a prominent name in the Indian Circuit they have a reputation of getting some very talented acts to India such as QUIX B2B Wuki, Party Thieves to name a few. To top it all off they’re getting What So Not to start 2018 with a bang. We had a word with Phoenix Live here’s what they’ve gotta say about the tour
Speaking on the practices of the agency, Bharath Varma (Managing Partner) says, “Our aim while starting was always to become experts in IP creation and we have come a long way in that. We work with top corporates such as Google, Microsoft, Maruti, Samsung, etc on a PAN India level pertaining to their events and activations and also venture actively into sports events but our intrinsic aptitude has always been music and experiential events. We have various successful IP’s to our credit with the biggest being Riders Music Festival. We have done tours and gigs with international artists like DJ Blend, Party Thieves, Delta Heavy, Jaytech, Christy Million, Quix, Wuki and many more. We are going to continue getting unique acts to the country and are also looking at bringing an international festival in the next year. Curating unique experiences and being asset creators is what we pride ourselves on”.
Manas Tripathy, who manages all tours and alliances at Phoenix says, “Each tour comes with its intricacies but we have never had an on-ground issue at any of our events. Major reasons for this are our executional skills and a strong set of alliances that we have forged with partners and venues. We have developed stout partnerships with clubs throughout the country who assist us with our events and are drawn to the distinctive experiences we offer. We strive to augment the Indian music scene by bringing acts that are unique in nature hence we collaborate with artists who have distinct identities, have their own take on genre breaking music and heighten music experience via partnerships with other artists. 2018 we have some big announcements to make, we are starting off with WHAT SO NOT!

On the 19th of this month, he’ll be taking over Playboy Club New Delhi. Playboy Club is one of the most happening places in Delhi after hosting a number of big events they’ve made a name for themselves and with What So Not coming there it sure is gonna be a Mad Night.
